Le Jardin des Bégards

François Piscitello’s Le Jardin des Bégards offers a true gem. Firstly for the location, nestled gently at the foot of the sloping Sauvenière. Once through the gate, the lovely garden enchants you with an exciting discovery of senses, yet not the sense of being in central Liege. The restaurant itself is an example of untimely decor, always blending in with the moment: deep coloured carpet, voluptuously curved woodwork, an open kitchen for the guests, moody candles for the lighting, and last but not least, the meticulously compiled background sounds. The kitchen plays host to a man who finds wonderful harmony between his savoir-faire and his taste for ingredients, producing a selection of exquisite transalpine cuisine. Head there to eat, taste and listen. Simply to feel good. Where would we be without locations offering such pleasure.
