A former chef in some very famous Brussels restaurants, such as Ascoli or San Daniele, Giuseppe Santoro put aside his frying pans and dishes to devote himself to other occupations for a time, before his joyous return, a few years back, to preparing the finest Italian cuisine on Chaussée de Louvain in Wavre. Now accompanied by his wife Isabelle, the very least that one can say is that the chef’s talent and dexterity were certainly unharmed by his absence from the profession. Remaining true to healthy and natural Italian food, where the best products on the market are always king, Giuseppe offers dishes of all flavours which explode with creativity. Our man, truly, gives you sun-drenched cuisine – and it should be noted that Altro Mondo doubles up as a notable delicatessen, with rare oils, cheeses, wines, spices, pasta and other wonders of Italy available to enrich your own table.
